Launch of QMotion
Kickstart in the field of E-Mobility
Since the beginning of April there is a new player in the e-mobility sector. QMotion enters the race as a former, independent brand of the Viennese IT service provider Qualysoft and presents itself in the promising future market of electromobility with a major international customer project.
Awi Lifshitz has served as Head of Sales for all sales at Qualysoft for the past two years, with a strong track record in B2B technology and IT-enabled business models. Now, the starting signal for his own business line is set, which is based on comprehensive strategic consulting for e-mobility, end-to-end solution design and the complete implementation of the systems. QMOTION wants to offer its customers the perfect combination of e-mobility know-how and many years of experience with excellent IT architecture.
However, Lifshitz also points to the numerous challenges electromobility initiatives currently face: "For e-mobility projects, corporations already have a lot of capital available, but deep know-how in this area can only be built up gradually. The entire electromobility business is digital and therefore largely new territory for car manufacturers and energy providers. The roles and responsibilities in the value chain have not been finalized yet, and the IT of all companies involved does not have enough capacity and is not agile enough for the rapid progress of the industry. These are exactly the points we want to address - here I see QMotion as a strong and essential partner. "
Awi Lifshitz and Qualysoft, together with a 25-member international project team, started the development of a highly complex system for Hubject already in May 2017. The jointly developed platform of the Berlin-based electromobility company now connects more than 300 automotive companies, utilities and IT companies in 26 countries, and is thus the foundation of the world's largest supplier-independent charging network for electric cars. QMotion and Hubject have enjoyed a strong partnership since the successful completion of the project in November 2017 - more joint projects are already being planned.
